Tips that get faster answers
- Put your full name and date of birth (and file or applicant number, if you have one) in the subject line.
- Write one request per email and attach documents as PDFs, not phone photos.
- No answer after a week? Reply to your own email with "Ich möchte freundlich an meine Anfrage vom [Datum] erinnern." (I'd like to kindly follow up on my request of [date].)
- Many immigration offices use an online form instead of email: check your city guide first.
